Since materials such as metal or stainless steel would not permanently resist heavily contaminated liquids, sophisticated media supply systems used, for example, in the disposal of acidic wastewater in the electroplating industry, often demand special plastics.
ZUBER specializes in plastic piping systems that are perfectly adapted to the individual purpose and situation. Unless otherwise specified by the customer, the materials for pipes, fittings and special components are carefully selected on the basis of their specific technical properties such as malleability, hardness, elasticity, breaking strength, temperature resistance and chemical resistance. In most cases, PE-HD, PP-H, PPs, PVC-U, PVC-C or PVDF is the material of choice.
For our piping systems, we use semi-finished products and components from renowned manufacturers such as G+F / Dekadur, Simona and Frank. If necessary, we compliment these products with specific parts from our own production. Both processing and on-site assembly are carried out in compliance with manufacturer’s, DVS and WHG guidelines. In order to join the individual components, we make use of the entire spectrum of joining techniques, ranging from heated-tool butt-welding and socket welding over electrofusion welding to adhesive bonding and flange connections.
